"Soundscapes for
restless minds and
late night drives."

Bio

Founded and fronted by songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist Jonathan Heynen, this Alaska-based four-piece has evolved from its atmospheric synth-pop origins into a bolder, guitar-driven alt-rock/indie-pop aesthetic.

Their sound pairs the soaring, arena-ready scale of Kings of Leon and Coldplay with the moody, nostalgic undertones of Cigarettes After Sex and the intricate, rhythmic complexity of Radiohead.

Johnny Prizm’s music bridges anthemic guitar work with lush vocal layers and melodies that get stuck in your head. Their catalog explores the modern intersections of love, grief, mental health, and late-night sad boy bops.

With an expanding footprint extending well beyond their Northwest roots, Johnny Prizm continues to refine their distinct sonic identity and proving that some of the most compelling indie rock in the country is forged in the North.
